General Terms & Conditions
These general terms and conditions (hereinafter, the “General Terms and Conditions“) are intended to define the terms and conditions under which Casa Broadway allows its customers (hereinafter, the “Customer(s)“) to benefit from all of the services, particularly reservation services, that are available on this Site and are further described below (hereinafter, collectively, the “Services“).
Prior to reserving any Service on the Site, the Customer declares (i) that said Customer is acting for his/her own personal purposes that are not part of said Customer’s commercial, industrial, independent or agricultural activity and (ii) the Customer has the full legal capacity to accept these current General Terms and Conditions.
The Customer is invited to carefully read these General Terms and Conditions, whose prior acceptance is mandatory for any Services offered on this Site or physically at the Hotel. Customers are advised to save and print these General Terms and Conditions using the standard functionalities of their browser and computer.
Hotel Casa Broadway reserves the right to modify or supplement, at any time, all or part of these General Terms and Conditions. In this case, the new version of the General Terms and Conditions will be available on the Site with the effective date. Customers are advised to regularly consult the General Terms and Conditions to be aware of any changes. In any case, the Customer will only be bound by the version of the Terms and Conditions in force at the time that the Customer avails the services at the Hotel irrespective of any prior commitments, additions, deletions, alterations etc. made on the General Terms and Conditions
The Customer assumes the exclusive responsibility of paying, if necessary, for all the technical means necessary to gain access to the Site.
The following are the terms and conditions of the agreement between guests and the Hotel Casa Broadway [hereafter called “Management”] under which the accommodation in rooms are permitted to be used by the guest and these terms are binding on the guest
Management Rights
It is agreed that the Guest will conduct himself/herself in a respectable manner and not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the hotel’s premises. The Management reserves the absolute right to the admission of any person in the hotel premises. The Management reserves the right to request the guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the hotel forthwith, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the Guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the management shall have the right to remove the Guest’s luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her. The Management shall have the right to change the room allotted to the guest at any time, without assigning any reasons thereof and without any previous notice, or to shift the Guest to any other suitable accommodation
Guest Belongings
Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms while going out or when going to bed. The Management will not, in any way whatsoever, be responsible for any loss and/or damage to the guest’s belonging or other property from either the hotel room or locker or any other part of the hotel for any cause whatsoever including theft/pilferage
Hazardous Goods
Bringing into and/or storing of raw or exposed cinemas films, or any other article of combustible or hazardous nature and/or prohibited goods and/or goods of objectionable nature in the hotel is prohibited. The guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the Management, its other guests, invitees, visitors, agents and servants for any loss, financial or other, and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guest’s own negligence and non-observance of any/all instructions
Use of Hotel Facilities
The Guest shall use all the facilities and services available at the hotel with care and caution and entirely the Guest’s risk. The Guest shall agree to abide by and follow all instructions placed by the Management at the various places in the hotel premises. The Management shall not be responsible for any injury to the Guest or damage to the Guest’s goods that may be caused as a result of the use of the facilities /services or any other reason whatsoever. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hotel premises. Guests are requested not to bring any food from outside into the Hotel. Pets are not allowed inside the Hotel premises
Room Usage
Primarily, it is assumed that the rooms will be used only for living purpose and cannot be used for any other activities/purposes like office accommodation, exhibition, entertainment, filming, interview, parties etc. or sublet to third parties unless expressively disclosed; confirmation taken thereof in writing from Hotel Management. In this respect, the Management discretion will be absolute, final binding on you. The guest cannot house any guest inside the room without the prior permission from the Management. The management reserves the right to charge for any such default that comes to the notice of Hotel Management, as it deems fit and necessary. In case of any damage to the Hotel supplies or infrastructure noticed by Hotel Management, the same will be appropriately charged to the guest by the Hotel Management, and to which the guest shall not dispute and pay immediately upon presentation of the bill
Rights of Admission
The hotel reserves the right of admission to its guests. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a ‘couple’. Guest can be denied accommodation in the absence of suitable and acceptable proof of Identity. In-house guests are requested to refrain strictly from having any personal visitors to their rooms at any time of the day to ensure peace, security tranquility of other Hotel guests/adjacent rooms, so that discomfort is not caused. The primary guest checking into the hotel must be at least 18 years of age
Tariff
The tariff is for the room only. Meals and other services are available at extra cost unless and otherwise specified separately in the contract letter or online channels. Hotel Management is not responsible for any additional charges / convenience charges or any other charges that are charged by any third party agents like OTA’s / Travel Agents / Individuals posing agents / Aggregators etc. Hotel shall not refund any extra charges levied by any agency or individuals to the guest on account of room charges or tariff
Group Bookings
Multiple room-bookings: Bookings of 3 rooms or more are considered group bookings and require full payment for the total amount of the reservation by bank transfer at the time of booking. These bookings cannot be changed or cancelled after confirmation. Any payment transactions made by the guest in lieu of these bookings in advance, is non-refundable

Government Policies for Accommodation
All guests, including Government employees will be required to submit the following Identity proofs:-
Departure
Check-out time is 11am. The guest shall vacate the room allotted to him/her on expiry of the period of occupation granted to the guest. On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry of that period, the management shall have to right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the guest, if the necessity arises
Settlement of Bills
Bills must be settled immediately upon presentation. Personal Cheques are not accepted. All foreign nationals are required to settle their bills in foreign currency or Indian rupees, in keeping with the Government regulations at the particular time
Guest Luggage and Belongings
The Hotel has complete lien to Guests Luggage & Belongings. In case of default in payment of dues by a guest, the management shall have a lien on the luggage and belongings, and be entitled to detain the same, and to sell or auction such belongings at any time without reference to the guest, and appropriate the net sale proceeds towards the amount due by the guest without prejudice to the Management’s right to adopt such further recovery proceedings as may be required
Damage to Property
The guest/s will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Hotel’s property caused by themselves and/or their visitors. Any damages to property brought about by the guest or their visitors will be charged to the guest
Relation between Management and Guest
Nothing hereinabove shall constitute or be deemed to constitute, or create, any tenancy or sub-tenancy, or any other right to or interest in the hotel premises or any part or portion thereof, in favour of any guest or resident or visitor, and the management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute control of the whole of the hotel premises
Application of Laws, Government Rules, and Regulations
The guest is requested to observe, abide by, conform to end be bound by all applicable acts and laws and Government rules and regulation in force from time to time
Amendment of Rules
The management reserves the right to add or alter or amend any of the above terms, conditions, and rules
Settlement of Disputes
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata
