Yuya Tabata has been one of the regular Japanese visitors to Kolkata, who always choose Casa
Broadway for his stay. He is very polite and cooperative, and our staff love to serve him. This year
again, he came here to Kolkata for business matters. He checked-in on 29th February and continued
his stay. As known to us, the nationwide lockdown in India was announced on 25th February by the
government, so as to maintain social distancing, which had been the elementary need of that moment.
The nation welcomed the decision but the sudden lockdown left many people stuck in different places
away from their home.
Yuya is one such individual who as said, visited India on 29th February for business and continued his
stay after that. The Casa Broadway management offered him an extension of stay when the
lockdown was announced in no time and provided all the services without any compromise. The
decision of remaining at the service of the guest during the pandemic and nationwide lockdown makes
it one of the best hotels in south Kolkata. Moreover, Casa Broadway provided everything that one
can expect.
While the hotel remained open for one guest, the hotel management, staff and room service team
ensured that everything is properly cleaned and sanitized. Maintaining social distancing and proper
sanitization was the top priority of the hotel. The team performed its duty of servicing the guest but at
the same time making sure that everything remains free of contamination.
Although cleaning and sanitizing the hotel rooms are a part of the routine, special attention was paid
during the stay of the guests amidst lockdown. Yuya was also very much cooperative with the hotel
staff. He duly understood all the limitations under which the hotels are running.
